Welcome!

    This is my UCLA home page. I am a Geophysics and Space Physics Ph.D. student, working with Dr. David Paige in the Earth and Space Sciences Department. My work focuses on the application of remote sensing to the study of planets and natural satellites. Specifically, I use data from visible and infrared sensors in conjunction with numerical models and analytical calculations, to explore the physical properties of planetary atmospheres and surfaces. At the moment, I am concentrating on:

• The atmosphere and ice cap at the winter pole of Mars, with the Mars Climate Sounder (MCS) instrument on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft
• Titan's surface composition and atmospheric properties, with the Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (VIMS) on the Cassini spacecraft
• Europa's surface composition and distribution of non-ice materials, with data from the Near Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (NIMS) on the Galileo spacecraft (R.I.P.)

I am also a Research Associate at the Bear Fight Center in Winthrop, Washington, where I collaborate with Dr. Thomas B. McCord and others.
